Life is a Beautiful Thing: (Book One) (Cyberpunk Science Fiction Series)
by Harmon Cooper
The hunt is on.
Meme is a humandroid therapist who becomes the target of an international manhunt after accidentally cold-cocking one of the most powerful men in America at a botched Halloween party. He is fond of speaking directly to you, the reader, sort of like Deadpool, but a lot more intoxicated. Meme loves pollutes, inhale exhale, his drug of choice.
Nelly is a pregnant drug dealer with a sugar daddy cum husband whom she hates (and who is friends with Sauria, the guy Meme punched by accident).
Yeshi is a humandroid escort who is probably the sanest of the bunch, but she has a replica humandroid twin named Rinchi who is one hair shy of a killer, so let’s just call them both insane to keep it simple.
Sauria is an overweight oligarch who runs two corporations that more or less (with an emphasis on more) have corporatized killing, dismembering and covering it up. He is also the victim of Meme’s punch, which jump starts this whole series of books after he calls for Meme’s death.
Life is a Beautiful Thing offers a shocking glimpse into a dark future fueled by corporate deceit and designer intoxicants. Part dystopian science fiction, part hallucinatory thrill ride, this ground-breaking series will keep you on the edge of your seat to the very end.
The future is futile. Strap yourself in.
